NewPoint’s Role

NewPoint was engaged by a minority shareholder of ACS to negotiate the buyout of the equity held by the majority institutional shareholder, Growthworks Canadian Fund. The role included, negotiating the purchase price, determining the capital structure, raising the capital, and negotiating all legal documentation.

NewPoint was able to structure the acquisition through the use of leverage which resulted in the management team owning 100% of the equity in the company. NewPoint continues to advise ACS on its ongoing financings and strategic acquisitions.
