Sector Alarm, a leading Nordic security company offering alarm and remote monitoring systems, acquired the security activities of Afone Participations, carried out by its subsidiaries Afone Sécurité and Afone Services.

Founded in 1995 in Norway, Sector Alarm is a family-owned company active in telemonitoring and security solutions to the residential and SMB markets in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, and Spain. In 2017, Sector Alarm achieved EUR 472 million of revenues, generating a EUR 102 million EBITDA.

Afone Participations is a telecommunications and electronic payments operator. For more than 30 years, Afone Sécurité has offered telemonitoring solutions (APSAD P3 certified) to approximately 11,000 residential and SME customers with a broad geographical coverage in France. Afone Sécurité operates under the brand names Afone Sécurité and Blokos.

This acquisition enables Sector Alarm to become a key player in France.
