Christian Fournier, founding shareholder of software publisher Mistral, sold its shares to Omnes Capital and Fabrice Le Camus in a LMBI transaction.

The group has a developed a one-stop-shop offer, with a complete IT solution, including software, hardware, set-up services (specific R&D developments, implementation and training) and maintenance. Headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand (center of France), the group employs 44 people.Created in 1980, the Mistral group is composed of two companies, Mistral Informatique (software publisher and mobile apps) and Mistral DataCenter (hosting and managed services). It is the second market player in France in ERP software publishing focusing on the distribution, repair, and rental of agricultural, public works, and handling equipment.

In a growing ERP software market, driven by the digitalization of businesses, Mistral group enjoys valuable competitive advantages: excellent client recognition, long-standing expertise, industry-leading offering, and attractive growth potential, notably in mobile apps and the SaaS model.

Omnes equity-invested approximately EUR 12 million with its 2^nd and 3^rd generation small-cap funds (LCL Expansion 2, LCL PME Expansion 2 and LCL Expansion 3). With the support of its financial partners SWEN Capital Partners, Parvilla and Capital Transmission, Omnes is the majority shareholder alongside the new manager Fabrice Le Camus.  Jacques Riviere, previous president of OCEAN (part of Omnes portfolio between 2007 and 200) sold to Orange in 2015, is also investing in the transaction through its holding company and joining the supervisory board of Mistral. The transaction was also financed by senior debt.
