Following the success of its Mexico Development I fund, PC Capital, the private equity arm of Clairfield’s Mexican partner that specializes in growth equity investments in Latin America, announced the initial close of its private equity fund PC Capital Development Fund II, L.P. The fund will invest in Latin American companies through equity or subordinated debt in companies operating primarily in the financial services, consumer goods and services, and sustainability industries.

The fund’s limited partners include some of the region’s leading institutional private equity investors including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank Group, Mexico’s Fondo de Fondos, and PineBridge Investments, among others.
