Debco Bag Distributors Ltd. (“Debco”) is a Canadian importer and supplier of promotional products such as bags, drinkware, office supplies and numerous other product categories which it sells through a network of distributors across North America.

NewPoint’s Role

NewPoint was retained by the shareholders of Debco to facilitate a sale of the Company to provide the owners with a path towards succession, as well as some immediate liquidity. NewPoint assisted the Company with all aspects of evaluating, negotiating, and closing the transaction.

Transaction Snapshot

NewPoint approached North American financial, strategic, and hybrid investors as potential acquirors of the Company. After doing so, the shareholders felt that the strategic partnership with Hub Promotional Group, coupled with the operational expertise and financial support of Tenex Capital Management was the best path forward for the Company.
