NewPoint was retained by Celopharma Inc. (“Celopharma”) as its exclusive financial advisor to facilitate the sale of the Company. NewPoint assisted Celopharma by identifying and approaching a comprehensive list of high quality domestic and foreign strategic buyers, and played a key role in the evaluation, negotiation, and closing of the sale process.
Linepharma Inc., a North American subsidiary of Swiss-based pharmaceutical company Amring Holding SA, acquired Celopharma to establish and grow its presence in Canada. Celopharma Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Mifepristone based medical abortion pill packs. The Company sells its product under the brand name Mifegymiso.
